Yes – starting in 2024, new athletes will be in a try-out period for the first 10 workouts. If the athlete attends all 10 of his/her first 10 workouts, the athlete makes the team! If the athlete misses a workout during the first 10, the athlete’s try-out period will be extended to to 15 workouts, of which 14 must be attended to make the team.
No! Most of our athletes join with zero experience. We can build you from scratch. We range in skill from novices and beginners to professional powerlifters and world champions. We all train together and grow together.
Cajun Prep costs $0. Athletes run powerlifting meets and participate in fund raisers to cover all expenses.

If you want to be a casual lifter, no. If you’re looking to be the best powerlifter you can possibly be, yes. The demands are high, but the results we produce are unmatched.
